Bummer… apparently the Santa Cruz Island Bald Eagles named K-10 and K-26 lose their second eagle chicks. These were the two eagles watched daily on the Channel Islands Live Bald Eagle-Cam I referred to in an earlier post. Maybe they will try again.

I photographed these two Anna’s Hummingbird nestlings on April 1, 2009 (see earlier posts). On April 6 I checked the nest and both were gone.
